Traditional Blues Bass-Player Seeks Working Blues-Band

Dont smirk or laugh until you see & hear my one-of-a-kind, one-string bass. Im using a 22 bass-drum (instead of a wash-tub) and a specially designed neck and string. Its got a hidden pick-up system which can go through my amp or a p.a. Ive got over 30 years experience performing and recording with all kinds of musicians. I know its the holidays and all but if youre a traditional, country blues or early Chicago blues player and are in a band, or want to start one and youre looking for authenticity, for a down-to-earth, play-the-bottom-line bass player, then look no further! Are there any black blues players out there? Have you all gone hip-hop & rap? My bass sounds real good with Puerto Rican dance music too; or roots-reggae, rock-a-billy or ol time jazz and be-bop swing and Gypsy-jazz too.
Theres lots of music I listen to, rock, jazz & pop,...so much to choose. Theres folk & hip-hop, but only one will do. When Ive heard it all, I go back to the blues!
This quote is from one of my songs. I got lots of original ones, but I dont want to sing, I just want to play my oltime bass. It is surprisingly accurate with lots of big fat bottom and natural volume. Having one string forces me to play simple, back-beat, bass-lines----just what a rootsy blues-band requires. My bass sounds like a stand-up bass found on old blues recordings.
