Im a piano teacher. I teach at home part time and at a local school 3 days a week. I also have a weekly gig 4 nights a week. So I guess Im both a day and night person. Im looking to save money by having a room house mate. This is a new venture for me (Ive lived happily alone for the past several years.) Short term or month-to-month ok. Long-term ok if we get along. Small cleaning deposit (possibly refundable). My house is a nice one-level 3 bdrm 2 bath with two-car garage, fenced backyard, large living family room w fireplace, vaulted ceilings, new carpet and appliances. My teaching room is conveniently located at the opposite end of the main living part of the house, with its own entry. I only teach a few hours in the afternoon early evening a few days a week (when Im not at school teaching) Very nice quiet, safe neighborhood near Tigard High school. Quick EZ access to I-5, 217, 99w, Barbur blvd. washington square. YOU: clean, reliable (rent-wise), trustworthy, polite and respectful of people (I have students come to the house whom you may encounter in passing.) Smoking outside ONLY (theres a patio door to back patio.) You can be male or female, any race, orientation, etc. but must be nice and preferably have a sense of humor! Being flexible would also help, at least during the initial working out the schedule, routine, rules, etc. period. All other details, terms can be discussed by phone, email, or in person.
