We are seeking a Director of Accounting. Plans and direct accounting related activities wit management and control department. Supervise Derivatives Analysts. Special projects for derivative hedging related policies, audits, research and hedge documentation.

Oversees the day-to-day month-end operations of Derivative Hedging Settlement closing activities which include:

?｢どｨｬ｢ Commodity derivative settlements summaries by segments
?｢どｨｬ｢ Margin call balance reconciliations
?｢どｨｬ｢ Embedded commodity derivatives allocation and reconciliation
?｢どｨｬ｢ Intercompany entries for segments
?｢どｨｬ｢ Foreign Exchange derivatives reconciliation
?｢どｨｬ｢ Futures broker statements reconciliation
?｢どｨｬ｢ Inventory hedge ineffectiveness for marine, land and aviation
?｢どｨｬ｢ Cash applications and derivative allocation offsets

Oversee the month-end mark to market closing journal entries which include
?｢どｨｬ｢ Commodity derivatives mark to market bookings based on deal type and segment
?｢どｨｬ｢ Foreign Exchange derivatives m2m bookings and pushdown
?｢どｨｬ｢ Intercompany push-down
?｢どｨｬ｢ Intersegment netting
?｢どｨｬ｢ Counterparty credit rating validation and fair value credit reserve calculations
?｢どｨｬ｢ Accounting dashboards

Oversee quarter-end accounting and financial statement related activities that include:
?｢どｨｬ｢ Commodity hedge regression analysis
?｢どｨｬ｢ FX hedge regression analysis
?｢どｨｬ｢ FAS 133 Derivatives Disclosure
?｢どｨｬ｢ FAS 157 Fair Value and Level 3 Disclosures
?｢どｨｬ｢ FAS 161 Balance Sheet Disclosure
?｢どｨｬ｢ FAS 161 Income Statement Disclosure for hedging instruments hedged items
?｢どｨｬ｢ FAS 161 Income Statement Disclosure for non-designated derivatives
?｢どｨｬ｢ FAS 161 OCI Disclosure
?｢どｨｬ｢ FAS 161 Contingent Collateral Disclosure
?｢どｨｬ｢ Hedge documentation review and update
?｢どｨｬ｢ Balance sheet and P&L reconciliation by segment

Assist with Accounting Department related activities and projects including
?｢どｨｬ｢ Summarize and interpret trends
?｢どｨｬ｢ SOX compliance and audits
?｢どｨｬ｢ Analyze new transaction structures for hedge accounting treatment
?｢どｨｬ｢ Develop and establish detailed accounting policies and procedures
?｢どｨｬ｢ Statutory reporting
