Im a college student in culinary school just looking to earn some extra cash. ive been cooking in kitchens for over 10 years and this is my second year in college being trained professionally. i do well with following recipes but really im an off the top of my head kind of cook. i like to walk in and make things up. generally no two things i ever cook will be the same. thats a problem for some and others love it.......

Special Training Accomplishments Clubs:

-Member of the Chefs Club at ICC, which is group of students who help
prepare food for bake sales, dinner parties and other ICC functions.

-Also a member of Chefs on Call through ICC. This group handles outside functions and dinners where the Chefs Club is requested to come and cook.

-During my time at Cracked Pepper we entered the Taste of Peoria and worked for weeks perfecting our menu and recipes, which we won 1st place for Best Appetizer and 3rd place for Best Casual Entr?ÉÀÜe.

-Just recently (11 10 and 11 11) Food Networks ?¢‚Ǩ?ìHearty Boys?¢‚Ǩ¬ù came to Peoria and put on a Fund Raiser for the Culinary Program at ICC. Chef Dan was there to supervise and help but the students prepared most of the food and also acted as waiters for front of the house service with Chef Steve. The meal was $500 a plate and we ended up raising almost $50,000 after plates and an auction.
