Additional Info: About ME: I am self-employed in a fulfilling career, though I work hard I live a balanced lifestyle. In other words I am disciplined but not competitive. I graduated from School of the Art Institute of Chicago with a BFA (concentrating on painting and sculpture)and went to Loyola University for my MSW (Clinical Social Work). My clinical approach is eclectic and integrated (body-mind-psyche continuum). My approach is practical. I strive to address points of pain immediately, using challenges as opportunities to grow, rather than pathologize childhood history and life's disappointments. Without challenge there are few opportunities to grow and expand. That's what this is all about. I love anything cultural: museums, music (jazz,fusion,folk,some rock,and classical), botanical gardens, literature, metaphysics (world religions and spiritual practices) and film (especially independent film). I enjoy cooking and good wines, being out in nature, hiking, biking, being near or on the water.
