Additional Info: About ME: I am a vivacious woman who loves the outdoors, sports, socializing, and new experiences. Enjoy going out for drinks and appetizers, movies, fests, and fundraising events for starters. I am adventurous, unpretentious, and optimistic. As I was raised by the Indiana Dunes, I thrive on rural and suburban outings as well as exploring all our wonderful city has to offer. While I stated I am looking for a long-term relationship, I realize dating comes first. With that being said, I am considerate, compassionate, and cooperative. I would like to meet a single WHITE male, 6 feet or taller, who is upbeat, positive, passionate, financially secure, and has a generous spirit. Solid communication (phoning, e-mailing, and texting...I can forgo the carrier pidgeons) and women skills(understanding females are like cats - stroke us the right way) are a pre-requisite! My goal is to find an equal partner who knows the meaning of give and take, realizes each and every one of us has character assets and defects, and delivers on promises made. Communication, BOTH cyber and live, in itself as well as a tool to understanding each others needs is paramount. I believe compromising and not resenting it is key to developing a solid relationship. While no one is perfect, let's help bring out the best in each other. My music tastes vary widely. Favs include top 40, hip-hop, classic and alternative rock, heavy metal, and movie broadway soundtracks. Can take or leave blues, jazz, and new age. Country, classical, and rap are for others to enjoy. Am a huge animal lover as well. Currently have 2 tiger tabbys from the Chicago Anti-Cruelty Society. Our family has 2 red dobermans who are rescues that I help care for. Raised money for many animal causes and have a sponser cat who resides at a no-kill shelter. I'm a huge sports fanatic! I love football, especially the NFL! I am (of course) a Bears fan and plan to go to a couple of games this season. Am a huge Indy fan as well and am thrilled beyond belief that they made it to the SuperBowl yet again! Played ice hockey for 5 years during my youth so thoroughly enjoy the NHL. Last year was my first years as a Hawks fan and saw about half the home games at the UC. Attended about a third of the home games this past season. Can you spell C-U-P baby??!! I usually attend a couple of baseball games each season, being both a Cubs and Sox fan (hope that admission doesn't count against me). If you understand the pain, agony, and frustration of being a Chitown sports fan, then we already have something in common ;) I'm fun, love life, and have much to offer! I am young at heart so please be flexible, adventurous, and open to new experiences. Will travel for the right guy so if you reside in the burbs, not a problem. A little rough around the edges works, but knowing how and when to be a gentleman really goes a long way with me. Will only consider those with pics so if you don't have one, we'll need to resolve that before meeting. Those of you with tatoos, piercings, and or addiction issues, please move on to the next fishette. And please...no cyber babble. I am not a mouse to be toyed with and neither are you. Any questions? Am extremely interested in playing golf, so if you have the patience to take me to a driving range followed by 9 holes, I would be forever grateful. I relish getting to know someone in a fun venue. Note: Due to the current state of the economy, a weekend breakfast or meeting after work at a sports bar to watch a game is always an option...
