Additional Info: About ME: Honestly, I am checking this out because the selection on Portland Mercury is very limited and I haven't had much good luck with it. I work at home so I don't get the chance to meet new people very often. And I am not the kind of person who picks up guys at a bar or even a coffee shop. You could say I am shy when it comes to striking up a conversation. Although I can hold a conversation fine. I do and think art 75% of the time. Whether you are a creative type person does not really matter as long as you aware I am. Somehow I tend to only meet date musicians and hardcore cyclists which might say something about who I hang out with. I would like to meet a guy that might do those things as hobbies but have a profession such as: carpenter construction, architect, doctor, med student, environmental science related field... to throw a few out there. The following is random things that come to mind when asked to describe myself. In no particular order. I am fairly independent and seeking someone the same. I do ride my bike but its not my entire life. I look smarter then I sound. Its the glasses really. My brother tells me I sound like a surfer. Although I think like that of an intellectual mixed with aspiring artist. I can cook but like baking better. I am a vegetarian with the belief that the meat and fish industry will should improve their standards. You don't have to be vegetarian but would need to be a conscious omnivore. I am interested in learning new things, trying new activities, going on adventures, etc. being more active physically and a healthier person. I don't dance. ever. nor will I do karaoke. I have a sarcastic sense of humor, so if you don't get British comedy then you prob won't get me. I talk a lot when I am nervous, which would be at least the first three dates. 1st date: Coffee. And chess, if you know how to play. If I was interested after that I would say going out for a drink then dinner and or hiking next.
