1999 BMW R1100S. I am the second owner, having bought the bike in 2007 from the first owner. The bike is in near perfect condition. I am an avid motorcyclist -- as was the original owner -- and in my 50s. I have several motorcycles, older and newer -- other BMWs, Ducatis, and Moto Guzzis, and am very accustomed to restoring old bikes and taking great care of the newer ones.
The bike has 15,697 miles of travel, as of this writing. The bike is in top running form. It has never been dropped in any way. There are no paint nicks or flaws. Upgrades -- done by the original owner -- include the exhaust and the rear shock. Tires are in good condition -- probably with 50% wear or so.


I have all original owners and technical manuals, as well as all paperwork from the point of purchase. The original owner also passed on to me the BMW R1100S sales booklet, as well as magazines from the period covering the bike -- where there are cover articles of the bike (Motorcyclist 10 98 and Cycle World 10 98). All the original tools -- under the seat -- are still there.
