Much has been said about rising health care cost in America, while little has been mentioned of its true contributing causes and a solid solution. While recent study has suggested that the United States has the greatest obesity rate, over 30%, than any other country in the world, its no wonder why so many of our citizens are in constant need of physician care and hospitals. Further breaking down the studies statistics show that 49 states have a prevalence of obesity at a level greater than 20%. Six states (Alabama, Mississippi, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee and West Virginia) have rates at or greater than 30%, needless to say that these states incur some of the highest health care costs in the nation.

This being said although healthcare may not have been on the publics top list of priorities at the beginning of this year, with government stimulus packages promising boost in the economy and the promise of change being at the forefront of last years presidential campaign, I assure you that Americans are completely aware and more conscious than ever about the need to stimulate themselves.

Shapin America is one executive producers vision to cure a national issue, this issue being obesity and over weight. Shapin America is a call to action that encourages, motivates, educates, and supports Americans in the call to reclaim their happiness and empower ones self to change. This change being a way of life. Shapin America is challenging everyone to change the shape of America through our celebrity fitness videos and health and fitness education centers we are charging one million Americans with loosing ten pounds each over the course of 2010 for a combined weight loss of ten million pounds.

Collectively they demonstrate how optimum physical fitness can be obtained in a way that everyone will be drawn to and be motivated to embrace as part of their daily lives.
