Innovative New Bass Baits For 2008.

posted 01/18/2008 at 8:16 pm in western ky, ky

We would like to introduce three new creature baits for 2008. They are The Boonie Grub, The Madd Bomber and The Zingit. You will also find a unique new tailspinner called The Blade Runner.

The Boonie Grub could best be described as a solid body alternative to the tube bait. Its wide profile ribbed body produces an eratic darting action which in turn transmits a noticeable pulsating action to the silicone tail. This bait has a tendency to produce a lot of water displacement leading it to be an excellent choice for stained and muddy water conditions.

The Madd Bomber was designed as a follow up to The Boonie Grub. It features a longer more streamlined body style which imparts a distinctive gliding action to the bait. The longer body will accomodate up to a 5/0 hook size. This bait also works well in grassy areas due to its slimmer body design. The tail can also be thinned out to enhance the gliding action of the bait.

The Zingit is a hand poured soft plastic reaper style bait with silicone legs. This bait was initially developed with the idea of crossing a plastic crawfish with the arkie jig. Was it possible to use a soft plastic and still be able to catch much larger fish like those caught on a jig? After a little trial and error The Zingit was the final perfected result. We also developed the The "Zingit Model" Widow Maker Hook which is a weighted hook designed to impart a gliding action to The Zingit.

The Blade Runner is best described as a modified tube jig. It feature a stainless steel wire shaft with an attached swivell and blade. With each 360 degree rotation of the blade a torque is produced which imparts a spiraling action along the entire length of the bait. This action looks similar to a "loosely" thrown football as it wobbles through the air. It is available in two models. The LargeMouth Model is well suited for large/smallmouth bass, white bass and hybrid strypes. The Magnum Striper Model features a much heavier hook and was designed for Rock Fish.

We are Kentucky & Tennessee's number one supplier of Bass, Crappie and Rockfish tackle. We carry shadd bodies from 1.0 inch to 12.0 inches in numerous laminate, glitter colors and fire tail colors. Super Salt Shadd Bodies are available in 9.0 and 12.0 inch sizes. We now have 4.5 inch flippin size Super Salt Tubes and 1/2 and 3/4 oz. tube jigs for rockfish.
