Yes, I would love to correspond! How are you doing?
. Im looking to get alot more active myself and I also have alot of interests.
What interests do you have and what kind of things do you like to do when your active?
I was only married once years ago and had other long term relationship with two other men. They werent marriage material for me.
I just chock it up to making bad choices in partners, but I get alot better and know better what I want and dont want in a partner. Im like you right now, just want to make friends to do things with.
I love to have intelligent conversation with people, am a loving, caring person. On the quiet, shy side until I fill comfortable with the person and then you cant shut me up. Typical of women right? They love to talk, most of them do.
I consider myself an intellectual and love to read books esp. educational ones! I want to learn to be an expert at investing in anything and everything including Real Estate Investing, although right now Im taking a break from learning to meet people and make friendships and enjoy them for a while. I dont know hardly anyone here, so I need to make friends a priority right now and have been feeling kind of lonely for not knowing anybody here.
I love to do just about anything within reason that my body will let me do at my age, he!!he!! (lol). Im 48 by the way. I would love to try new things and am thinking about joining in the future a social club to do alot of new things that I have never done before, if I can find one in this area? Would you happend to know of one?
By the way, Im probably an expert at what there is to do in the whole state of New York in doing research on what is going on in the state from one end to the other. I literally printed out over a thousand e-mails on events all over and wrote some of them on the large desk calendars and filled them all in for the whole year (two calendars actually) and havent even put a dent in the events to write on some more calendars. Most of the stuff is an every year type of thing too, at the same time every year! So, if you want to know what is going on, that I found, just let me know!
Alot of the stuff I found are hiking on trails in the wilderness, which I love to do and have a barbeque at the sites. I love to go to places that have trails and waterfalls esp., or bodies of water!
Ive been wanting to try snowboarding and want to find a friend that would love to try it! They would have to get their own snowboard and clothing for the sport. I have as yet to get the snowboard, but have the clothing to keep me dry. I would also love to learn to skii. I went skiing years ago for the first time and ended up on my butt most of the time and almost went over a small embankment, Whew!!, Almost (lol)!!!! I remember sitting on a pillow for about a few weeks after that, but hey! it was worth the fun! Whats a few cuts and bruises for the adventure. I might contort myself around a tree, but what the heck, I had the experience and fun, fun, fun, I think!
I work part-time for a Real Estate Investor, helping him with his many properties he owns and asked him to mentor me and he said he would and hopefully he will when his schedule calms down, hopefully!
Im applying for some worthwhile volunteer work to make me more active and meet more people and I hope I can make a difference in doing so!
I am usually busy mon.,tues, and wed., so I probably wont correspond until the other days are free on Thur.,fri.,sat. and sun. The work I do is very physical and exhausting, to say the least.
Do you have kids? I have 4 grown kids in California with their own busy lives and hope I can get out there sometime soon and meet my grand kids I have not got to meet yet. I have one daughter who chose to be a stay at home mom and has 3 kids herself. I have 3 girls and one boy. I have one daughter going to college to be a veterinarian, my son wants to design the video games that kids play and my one other daughter is undecided on what she wants to do and of course my one other daughter is a stay at home mom. She has her hands full! They are all toddlers!
