My Baby is for Sale....
1987 Cadillac Sedan Deville - my everyday driver for the last two years. We are moving and I just got a 2005 STS so the old girl has to go....
So here it is in a nutshell...
Very Good overall condition - I drove it everyday until I got the new car. Drove my 2 year old son to and from Day care and all around with complete confidence.
69000 original miles (give or take a few) - still gets driven a bit here and there..
Complete tune up done just before the summer - new plugs, performance ignition wires, rotor, distributor cap, pcv valve.
New air conditioning compressor - new hoses and seals for the entire heating and cooling system.
All four tires - less than 6 months old.
New drive belt (replaced when the AC compressor was replaced)
Aftermarket CD player - Awsome sound! - Louder than you will ever need! (Remote Control Included)
Interior leather is in fantastic condition (see pics)
Paint is good - chips, scratches and some bubbling by the door (pic included) expected for an orignal 21 yaer old car. Some scuffing by the front bumper near the light) - a 10 footer - not perfect or show worthy but definitely not to be ashamed of! Car still shines despite the minor imperfections. Chrome grill is my favorite part (Rolls Royce style front grille is a true showpiece of the car.)

MInor Issues (None of which affect drivability)
Service soon light has been on since I bought the car. Error code reads E21 (throttle position sensor) - I have had it checked twice and nothing wrong each time. No cable interference and not shortening of the cable. Dont know whey the light stays on. No other codes present. Car drives without a hitch and I have not looked in to the possibility of replacing the ECM. Why??? As I said the car is not affected by this issue so why mess with it.
Twilight sensor does not work. You must actually turn the lights on and off with your own hands!.... (Tragic I know..)
Stay with me here...the drivers side window switch (controls all 4 windows) will roll down three of the window but not the passenger side front window....That window will go down using the switch on the passenger side door....Guessing a bad connection to the one switch...) It will however roll the passenger side window up.. Did ya get all that....
Ok thats about it - I have probably forgotten something but here is the bottom line....
A great, safe, reliable car (the traction control system handles better than my wifes SUV in the snow..) for an everyday driver or an easy resto. NOT A SHOW CAR! Buy it to drive it!
Now lets be real...the value of these cars (market wise) is not in the High range even with the low miles and great condition.
Take a Test Drive!....Make an Offer!... and go home already! My STS is getting restless and needs some road time.
