30 YEARS OF SERVICE TO AREA GOLFERS
Special Guests on Hand Saturday, July 19th
Arlington, VA, July 17, 2008 – Washington Golf, one of the Washington area’s leading retail suppliers of golf equipment and accessories, celebrates 30 years of service to the area with a massive 10 day Tent Sale, which continues through July 20 at the Arlington Super Store. Special guests, including Steve Buckhantz and Phil Chenier, the play-by-play team for the Wizards and Fox 5’s Dave Feldman will be on hand Saturday, July 19 to answer your questions about the local sports scene and sign autographs. PGA teaching professional Kirk Lucas, coach for Jonathan Bird (PGA) and Kris Tschetter (LPGA) will be at the Tent Sale to disclose some secret drills designed for the tour players but, good for the average player as well. The Special Guests will be on hand from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the 19th.
The Super Store, located at 2625 Shirlington Road, Arlington, VA 22206, will open the 10,000 sq ft tent each morning at 10 a.m. Representatives for all the major equipment manufacturers will be on hand to talk with customers and help golfers with club fit. To thank local golfers, all items in the tent will be priced 30-70% off.
“We have been a part of the community, helping golfers get the best prices for equipment and accessories, for 30 years,” said Gene Kim, Vice president of Washington Golf. “The golf community has made us a part of their lives since the 1970’s and the Tent Sale is our way to say ‘thank you’ for their wonderful support.”
